I mean, shouldn’t we? Clearly, at this point in our lives, we have come to realize that we do not know everything and that there are concepts and studies that explain things we’ve never even thought of. Being educated is a humbling experience - you continuously learn and realize you don’t know anything. So, when someone has an outside opinion about you, maybe we should take it into consideration. I would never let this opinion completely hinder me from doing what I ultimately believe in, but perhaps they do have a point. Maybe their input is a result of something you don’t know, or are too blind to see. Don’t completely blow off everyone and say “I don’t give a fuck”, I suggest we all stop and listen for a moment. In the end, it’s always your decision, and someone’s envy should not make you second guess yourself…but save yourself some hardship down the road. Listen, learn, then decide. Have pride but have some humility too. You can’t always be right, even if you think you know yourself better than anyone, I’m sure you don’t know everything.
